ジェニー・オーケルンド (1984年 スウェーデン生まれ)

Malmö Art Academy (スウェーデン)にてMFA取得。
オーケルンドの作品は、わたしたちの「視覚」への関心を起点としており、作品形式はドローイングやビデオ、インスタレーションなど多岐にわたる。シリーズ作品「Selenography」（月面地理学）は一見、月面の写真が掲載されている書籍のコピーに見えるが、目を凝らすと、実はそれが作家本人の手によって精密に描かれた複製であることが明らかになる。彼女の作品は、私たちが身の回りのものや状況を見る認識する際、どこに、どのように焦点を合わせるかによって、「見える」世界がいかようにも変わりうることを示唆している。
主な展覧会として、 "Projet Gutenberg" Galerie Jeanroch Dard（フランス・パリ）、"FATAMORGANA#2" Galleria Omphalos (イタリア・テルリッツィ)、"MKH" Galleri Arnstedt （スウェーデン・ウストラ カールップ）、"Art on Paper 2012" Weatherspoon Art Museum（アメリカ・グリーンズボロ）、"Our Origins" Museum of Contemporary Photography（アメリカ・シカゴ）が挙げられる。
