RADIO RABATOKYOは、NPO法人アーツイニシアティヴトウキョウ [AIT/エイト] と、モロッコの首都ラバトの実験的なアートスペースL'appartement 22とのパートナーシップにより開局する実験的なアートラジオです。L'appartement 22の推薦を受けて東京に滞在し、制作やリサーチを行ったアーティストのサラ・オウハッドウ（フランス在住）と、キュレーターのナタリア・ヴァレンシア（メキシコ在住）の活動をはじめ、東京とラバトからさまざまなアートプログラムをお届けします。
L'appartement 22とAITのパートナーシップは、AITが2010年に同アートスペースの創立者であるキュレーターのアブデラ・カルムを招へいし関係性を発展させ、共同プロジェクトとして可視化するという目的で生まれました。
時間や場所に制約されず発信/アクセスが出来るラジオは、世界中でアクティヴィストやアーティストに積極的に活用されています。近年、国際展や各国のオルタナティヴ・スペースでもラジオプログラムが立ち上げられるなど、ラジオは表現者の声や活動を交差させる軽やかで身近な発信手段となっています。RADIO RABATOKYOでも、東京在住のアーティストでRadio Kosatenを主宰するジョン・パイレーツ（フィリピン出身）の協力のもと、オンラインラジオを通して、サラ・オウハッドウとナタリア・ヴァレンシアの日本でのリサーチやインタビュー、L'appartement 22や各国のアートスペースのラジオ局との対談、公開ライブ・ストリーミング、また、AITが関心を持つアーティストをゲストに迎えて作品を紹介します。日本語、英語、アーティストの母国語など、多言語で発信し、東京の代官山AITルームから世界に実験的なプログラムを届けます。今後は、オウハドゥとヴァレンシアの日本でのリサーチ音声やインタビュー、AITとL'appartement 22との対話、また、AITが関心を持つ国内外で活躍するアーティストによる作品などを紹介します。
3月2日の公開ライブ・ストリーミングでは、モロッコと日本をインターネットで繋ぎ、AIT、滞在アーティスト、キュレーター、アブデラ・カルムをはじめとするL'appartement 22のゲストを交えて「住処（すみか）」をテーマにトークを繰り広げます。来場の皆さんや会場の様子も一緒にライブ発信しますので、是非、ライブ・ストリーミングをリアルタイムで楽しんでみたい方はご参加ください。（遠方でもライブ・ストリーミングにてお楽しみ頂けます）

AIT is happy to announce a collaborative residency and radio project with the alternative art space L'appartement 22 in Rabat, Morocco.
The partnership between AIT and L'appartement 22 began in 2010 with the residency in Tokyo of its DIrector and curator Abdellah Kharroum. L'appartement 22 has been creating a radio project online called Radio Apartment 22, and from this initiative AIT decided to work with L'appartement 22 to set up the alternative radio project RADIO RABATOKYO.
RADIO RABATOKYO will invite many guests to participate in audio discussions and projects, as well as work closely with the two residents, Sara and Natalia who will share their research in Japan.
A live radio show will be held at AIT space on March 2, and a live link established with Morocco. AIT curators, artists and curators from Morocco will discuss the topic 'Sumika', meaning 'home'. We hope to create a relaxed atmosphere in which to record the radio program and everyone is welcome to join!
